Reiki Healing

Reiki is a very interesting form of healing. Most people are unaware of quite how powerful this form of healing actually is. I had an experience of it when I was training as an Alexander Teacher which I never forgot.

After the healing had finished I stood up and the doorbell rang. I had an amazing sense of elation, I was grinning from ear to ear. I answered the door and saw that it was my friend, completely out of character I warmly invited him in and gave him a firm hug. There was a feeling of completeness that I had never experienced before.

Years later I recommended it to a good friend who was suffering from rheumatoid arthritus. She is often dibilitated by this serious affliction. When she started the Reiki she found that her energy increased and that although she was by no means cured the Reiki had begun to have an effect that no amount of medical drugs had ever had!

I recommend that everyone at least tries Reiki once. It can't do any harm and who knows it may be that you too will have a miraculous experience that could change your life.

Dr Mikao Usui
Dr Usui was born in the mid 1800s in Japan; he was a cristian and taught at a cristian school. One day a student asked him why the church did not practise healing in the same way that Christ had, not having an answer he decided to go and  research the subject. Reiki is the result of that search.

Dr Chujiro Hayashi was the first to be trained by Dr Usui.

Mrs Takata was thought to be the ideal person to carry on the tradition.
